Jenny Cortez, an aspiring gymnast, and her mom and brother, move from Miami to Toronto to open a gymnastics club with her grandfather, called Cortez Gymnastics. Despite the fresh start, Jenny is forbidden by her mom, Whitney, to compete at a high-level, given the risk of injury. But Jenny is an amazing gymnast and feels utterly thwarted by her over-protective mom. Jenny is grateful to find two new best friends: Rachel, a singer, and Keisha, a dancer. They encourage Jenny to follows her dreams. Sneaking behind her mom’s back, Jenny tries to make the school gymnastics team and help take her team to victory.
This family show features heartfelt moments, plenty of laughs, and some of the best gymnastics you’ve ever seen. It’s a show about believing in yourself, and persevering, no matter the odds.
